Always heard good things about this place so i decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! Shea (I believe our servers name was) was amazing- great personality and very attentive! I got the build your own pasta with Cajun alfredo fried catfish and spinach, the catfish filet was huge! I also got the corn and crab bisque and it was spot on how it should be made. My partner got the chicken parm and he loved it as well, it was classic Italian with a bit of that southern red gravy flavor. He has a seafood and nut allergy and they were able to accommodate as well. Also got the blackberry margarita and strawberry mojito- both were good and decently strong but I’d recommend getting the bartender to strain/double strain the drinks, didn’t like drinking blackberry seeds in every sip(but every place has their own thing so no hate). Born and raised Louisiana and highly recommend this cute joint!

One of the best restaurants in the city! It is tucked away in the beautiful mid city part of NO. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is cool. They have a patio if you want outdoor seating. The bathrooms are clean and stocked. The wait staff are all so cool, nice & efficient. We had a great dinner!!

I decided to eat my birthday dinner here last night and I was not disappointed! My husband made reservations for us for 7, and although I found it to be late, it was the earliest time available. I recommend placing your reservations as early as possible and using YELP to do so. It was a smooth process, and we were able to walk in and be seated as soon as we arrived. Our waiter, Murphy, was very attentive and pleasant, although the place was super busy! Even though Katie's is known for their seafood, I had the rosemary chicken, which was juicy and delicious. The portions were perfect, leaving me with half to eat the next day. I was also given a HUGE and delicious bread pudding that I had to share to finish! To top it all off, most customers responded to my birthday button with birthday wishes. One lady even sung the birthday song to me!! What a wonderful way to round another year of life!

We had a reservation of 7 and they did a wonderful job keeping up with our drink refills and food service while the place was packed. Great oyster poboy. Definitely make a reservation!

Went to Katie's for dinner and was not disappointed! Really delicious food, and fairly decent vegetarian options compared to other restaurants. The onion rings were definitely the star of the show, one of the best onion rings I've ever eaten! The crab beignet was also delicious. Service was fine, the place is pretty busy so service was efficient but not too friendly or talkative. There was about a 25-30 minutes wait to get our table. The atmosphere at the restaurant was pretty lively and enjoyable.

A great place to nibble, sip, and unwind. Highly recommend!!! Overall....... The food was amazing, the hostess and waiter were calm and kind, and the dim lighting made for a cozy atmosphere. The music was at the perfect volume and created a great vibe (the last song playing when I signed the check was So In Love like I’m so in love with cosmo! ;). I ordered the crab cakes, which were impressively large—almost the size of burgers! Completely satisfied. They had the perfect level of moisture and flavor, with just the right amount of crust and breading. The two accompanying sauces were absolutely delicious too. For dessert, I had the strawberry cucumber cosmo—it was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the meal. Will happily add this to my lists of places to go try again and I’ll be sure to come with a big appetite .

Absolutely some of the best food we have had in a minute. Location: Located in Midcity with a dedicated parking lot for Katie's patrons. The sign indicating the lot is for Katie's faces Bienville, although you can enter the lot from N. Telemachus or Bienville. It's a smaller place, so you may have to wait. Service: Impeccable. Our receipt said Pablo was our waiter. No idea if that is his name, I missed it when he said it, but he was great. Refilled drinks and brought everything out promptly. When we were done with our meals, he was back at the table so we could ask for the check. He is great at his job. Food: We had the seafood beignet to start.... and WOW. It was so good. It's bread stuffed with seafood, cheese, jalapenos and then fried (I am assuming) and topped with a cream sauce. Just one, but it was enough for 2 people. I had the ribs. Recommended by the waiter and the combo of blackberry and jalapenos was intriguing. I enjoyed. Maybe could have been a tad more tender, but they were very tasty. Husband had the seafood stuffed eggplant with catfish and cream sauce. It was one of the specials for the day and he ate every bit. Atmosphere: Laid back, not dressy. Casual dress. Nice bar. Place is on the smaller side with some tables toward the back that may seat 6 people. There is an upstairs, but not sure what is up there. Saw people going that way, but unsure if it is seating or not. Full bar with cocktail menu. We will definitely be back. We are not locals, but neighbors. We have eaten in NOLA many times. Some hits, and some just ok. This is a place that I don't feel is recommended enough. I had never heard of it before. The usual google searches do not offer this place up, even though it is highly rated per their reviews online. Thankfully, I found a Reddit thread that did not steer us wrong this trip.

We were at City Park and after leaving Apple Maps guided us here because it was open past 1400 and was close. 4 days in NOLA, the WW2 museum, French Quarter, the Botanical Gardens at City Park with coffee and beignets at Cafe du Monde. Katie’s made our vacation!! The food, wonderful staff, Arnold Palmers made with real lemonade and iced tea. ..... fantastic. This place made my girl happy..... 25APR25
